Working as a senior engineer for McDonnell-Douglas in the mid-'80s, Wade Reynolds never knew exactly what the next day might bring. But on the day he learned he'd been assigned to a prestigious special project in Guam, he was suddenly forced to make one of the biggest decisions of his life. The question wasn't whether or not he was going to Guam, but rather – and more importantly – would the love of his life be joining him on this adventure"
The Big Question
Wade and Terri had met while both worked for McDonnell-Douglas and just prior to Wade receiving his assignment. Quite simply, they were a perfect match. But as much as they were drawn to each other, Terri was understandably hesitant to give up her career and move to Guam to be with someone she had recently met. But as it often does, love triumphed, and long story short, the two were married in May 1987. Four days later, they found themselves half a world away in Guam, the first stop on what would eventually become one of the most incredible 15-year honeymoons anyone's ever experienced.
As an engineer who worked with the major airlines to introduce new commercial aircraft to market, Wade was often asked to visit new and interesting locales and to adapt to each new culture, both in his business and personal life. For Terri & Wade, this meant a world of new and exciting experiences. Deep sea diving on shipwrecks in Guam and Truk Lagoon. Experiencing stunning Argentinian waterfalls from a helicopter. Buying collectible artwork on the island of Palau. And many, many more.
Coming Home
After 15 years of incredible memories, countless new friends around the globe and two children of their own, Terri & Wade decided to go back "home." They returned to Southern California as if they'd never left, immersing themselves in their community and quickly adapting to the high quality of life here in Valencia. And after spending most of their lives in the corporate world, Terri & Wade were ready for a new challenge professionally as well.
